Wrestling Revue -is once again being made available in a PRINTED EDITION! You read that correctly! In the past, it was not feasible due to the expense to commercially print such a niche publication with limited readership. However, thanks to emerging technologies, we are able to offer Wrestling Revue as a complete, printed magazine!

HIGH QUALITY ALL THE WAY! We've just completed testing and can say without reservation that the present printing technologies used are phenomenal. In fact, they are better printing than WR has EVER seen, even going back to issue #1!! The interior pages are on white 60# stock (not newsprint) that will hold up over time.... black and white photos are sharp and crisp, the text is readable and unlike previous newsprint editions, does not smear in your hands. The covers are spectacular - heavy glossy full-color covers that even better the high-quality of the interior pages! Each issue is more like a book than a magazine... Words just don't do justice, YOU HAVE TO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF TO APPRECIATE IT!

THE FIRST ISSUE AVAILABLE IS ISSUE #149 - "THE CRUSHER" ISSUE: You can order this issue RIGHT NOW, it is ready for release! Previously only available online, this issue is now available in print. There is nothing like a printed magazine to read and relax with... and to keep on the shelf in your collection.

EVERY ISSUE WE'VE PUBLISHED WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THIS NEW FORMAT! UPDATE: ALL ISSUES ARE NOW AVAILABLE!! This includes our previously published issues (#142 through #147) and the two "online only" issues (#148 and #149). We are working hard to reformat the earlier issues, and expect to have everything converted. The early "newsprint" issues will now be on quality, durable and VERY ATTRACTIVE high quality white semi-gloss paper on the interior with four color heavy gloss covers. As each issue is available, we will make announcements.

ALL NEW ISSUES ARE NOW AVAILABLE AS PRINTED EDITIONS! Beginning with issue #150, which will be published in late-April, Wrestling Revue will once again be available as a printed publication. All first-class, high quality.

THE COST: Because this is a small market, we are not afforded the luxury of printing thousands of magazines. That's the fast-track to ceasing publication (believe it, we know!). Thus, we are able to print in very short runs, but this makes the per-unit cost higher. However, we think if you're a fan of classic pro wrestling, you won't want to miss a single collectible issue! Each issue costs $12.95 + $2.05 postage and handling = $15.00 total. We invite you to try one issue and see for yourself, and then we know you'll want the rest!!

Wrestling Revue Old School Message Board

<dc:subject>What's New?</dc:subject>

For your enjoyment, we have established a message board (forum) for fans of "old school" professional wrestling. Pantozzi was able to assemble a program that would appeal to past and current wrestling fans. Wrestlers from the current WWE era were in attendance as were wrestlers from the 1930’s.

The dinner, which was held in Staten Island, was an event to raise money for the PWHF’s new building in Amsterdam, New York. The guest of honor was legend Ted “The Million Dollar Man” DiBiase, who attended with his wife. Special guest appearances were colleagues and fellow legends Bret “The Hitman” Hart and Mick “Mankind” Foley. These three superstars were supportive of the PWHF’s mission to remember the great wrestling champions from the past. Their comments to the overflowing crowd brought howls of laughter at many points.

The attendees also were able to mingle and receive autographs from past greats such as Ida May Martinez, Dr. Billy Darnell, Kathleen Wembley, Tony Cosenza, Mario and Jumpin’ Joe Savoldi, Davey O’Hannon, Pete Sanchez, Hillbilly Cousin Luke, Jim Powers, Al Vass, Crusher Townsend, Tito Torres, “Mr. Nostalgia” Joe Franklin, Demolition Blast, Billy Caputo and Johnny Ova with Bobby Riedel. Angelo Savoldi, the only PWHF inductee in attendance, had a chance to show his beautiful induction ring to the other wrestlers.

At the end of his speech, Ted DiBiase made a $1,000.00 pledge to the PWHF. President Tony Vellano gave Ted his heartfelt thanks for such a generous contribution.

A full account of the event will be found in the upcoming issue of Wrestling Revue online.

Please visit the PWHF website at www.pwhf.org.

R.I.P THE CRUSHER

<dc:subject>What's New?</dc:subject>

<img class="imageStyle" alt="crusher" src="http://www.wrestlingrevue.com/page6/files//page6_blog_entry18_1.jpg"width="350" height="438"/>

Reggie Lisowski, aka "The Crusher" passed away at the age of 79 on October 22. Once again, the focus of the publication will be towards "classic, old school" pro wrestling.

The publication will be available exclusively as a digital file, available online as a downloadable PDF.

"This is the most affordable way to continue with such a niche publication," said Arena Publishing's president, Brian Bukantis. "We had to cease the print publication due to the high expenses of printing and postage. I wanted to continue, but we're dealing with a very small market, and it was cost-prohibitive. Now, with technology making such advances, we're able to continue on."

Issue #148 is dated "July - September, 2005" and consists of 66 pages. "One benefit from publishing digitally is we can add things that would be not be possible using print," said Bukantis.
