Reggie Lisowski, aka "The Crusher" passed away at the age of 79 on October 22. Complications from previous surgeries to remove a tumor finally did what few opponents could do - beat "The Wrestler Who Made Milwaukee Famous."
Crusher was a mainstay in the AWA, but also appeared throughout the world. Known for his brawling and beer-drinking style, he became a fan favorite over the years by giving wrestling fans the kind of rough-house action they liked to see.
The hometown Milwaukee newspaper report of his death can be found here.
